SPF Limited Support Options & Costs

At SPF Limited, we provide a range of services to suit individual needs, thus we have put together the following 2003 pricing plan which we believe fairly reflects not only the nature of the IT market, but also a reflection of the work involved. We are open 7 days a week, 8.00am till 6.00pm 365 days a year (except UK Public Holidays).

• Ad Hoc Customers:

Our standard "same-day" call out fee is a flat rate of £35. This includes the first hour's labour onsite. All subsequent labour is charged at £30ph. If software needs to be re-installed, there is no additional charge so long as the customer can prove its  initial existence,  and that they are a receipt of a valid license. SPF Limited will not install any new software without written permission from the customer.

In addition, once onsite if we diagnose a hardware fault, the customer is still liable for the initial call-out & labour charges incurred. We will however, quote for replacement parts within this price. Subsequently, installation & configuration of   the replacement hardware will be charged at our standard rate of £30ph.

• Contract and Project-based Customers:

Where possible, we strongly recommend that all our customers take-out a "maintenance contract" with ourselves. All project-based customers are entitled to a "pre-defined" support contract. Prices depend upon what is involved. (Please click on the "Contact Details" link opposite.

All contracts are based upon either a 4 or 8 hour response from the time you log the call with the helpdesk. This can either take the form of a telephone call, or preferably via email.

When we receive the logged-incident, we will initially try to resolve the problem either verbally with yourself, or if possible we will attempt to use a remote diagnostic tool such as PcAnywhere. If the issue still remains unresolved, then we will send an engineer onsite within your contracted time period. 

• Web-Site Design Customers:

It is not possible to give an exact price for these services on this page, but as  an illustration we charge a flat fee as opposed to an hourly rate.

  In addition, we charge the following (if required)

• Domain name registration...£15.00 (Administration costs only)
• Submission to ten major search engines. (Free of charge)
• Transferring your website onto the internet (Free of charge)
• Extra images on the pages will charged accordingly
